Labyrinth Assessment & Behavioral Services has adopted SAMHSA’s working definition of recovery from mental disorders and/or substance use disorders as our agency goal. We strive to help clients recover by encouraging their “process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential”.
We support the discovery of your innate strengths, while focusing on results and solutions in the healing process. We work collaboratively with clients and the important people* in your life to best serve you as you meet your life goals (*with the client’s consent). Treatment services are tailored to respectfully meet the specific needs of the clients based on need and risk factors.
Jody is a native of Southeast Idaho and earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Idaho State University. She graduated in 1999 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Fort Hays State University. Upon moving back to Idaho she began doing assessments and mental health counseling. She has worked individually with adults, teens, and children as well as couples and families. She dedicated 15 years to working with local problem solving courts, served as the director of a non-profit substance abuse treatment agency and has had her own private counseling practice in Malad Idaho for many years. She has a fondness for the rural areas of Idaho and loves the serenity of the country. Jody is passionate about her role in helping individuals make positive changes and work toward achieving their goals.
